The Hardcore Heroes Brazen Riot was formed in 1997 in Avesta in the Middle of Sweden and these six hard-working youngsters has since then recorded four demos, where the last one "Higher Level" got 8 out of 10 in Metal Hammer

The sixth member joined the band in the beginning of 2001 and his participation as DJ and producer of electronic sounds and noises changed their sound from just hard stomping hardcore to a more electronic touch like Spineshank etc., however still with their roots in hardcore.

Brazen Riot recorded their debute album "Follow the Mainstream" during three weeks in the Summer of 2001 in Studio Underground and Pelle Saether has as usual made an astonishing work as Producer.
